About The Position

The Service Desk Analyst II position involves receiving calls from internal employees to help resolve issues with computer hardware, including HP, Microsoft Surface, and Apple devices. Responsibilities include imaging devices, deploying new hire setups, and retrieving devices, as well as working with hardware suppliers on device RMA. The role requires excellent customer service skills to provide new hire orientation regarding devices and support for Audio/Video devices in conference rooms as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good understanding of computers.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year Service Desk Work Experience or Equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.
  • Proficiency in foreign language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German).

Responsibilities

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with computer hardware and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Advanced knowledge with MDT, SSCM, and Pixieboot.
  • Experience with BigFix and Autopilot is a plus.
  • Image computers to ensure an available supply for deployment.
  • Manage ewaste devices that are no longer viable for use.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of available devices and update the CMDB following receiving, deployment, and ewaste processes.
  • Review, update, and comment on ServiceNow Knowledge Articles.
  • Provide updates when needed on ServiceNow Knowledge Articles.
  • Instruct users regarding equipment, software, and manuals periodically.
  • Coordinate activities of the help desk with Network Services, Telephony, Development, or other Information Systems groups as needed.
  • Provide updates, status, and completion information within tickets and during daily scrums.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
