Lexus of Portland is looking for a Service Department Assistant to join their team! What will you do?

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • 2+ year’s customer service or call center experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Action oriented and adaptable to changing conditions
  • Proactive and organized approach to multitasking.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Decisions are guided by policies and procedures; receives moderate guidance and oversight from manager
  • Ability to communicate with customers, stores, team, and leadership at all levels of the organization in a manner that is reflective of the Holman Values and that strongly promotes the Holman brand at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and over phone, with focus on rapport building, listening, and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Greet the client upon entering the service drive or department
  • Welcome and check clients into queue to meet with service advisor
  • Set expectations with the client regarding duration of the service visit and repairs
  • Help clients schedule service appointments, gather estimates and warranty information
  • Answer and manage incoming telephone calls
  • Find status of client vehicles within dealer management software
  • Assist clients with status updates, close out their service paperwork and/or collect payment
  • Responsible for accurately counting cash drawers
  • Assist clients in obtaining alternative transportation
  • Shuttling vehicles between sales or service departments
  • Perform general office, clerical and administrative duties as needed
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
