About The Position

The Service Delivery Technician provides direct support to and is a central point of contact for CyrusOne clients. The Service Delivery Technician answers and records calls, e-mail requests and alerts from monitoring platforms, resolves client issues, opens and takes ownership of problems and opens changes. The position also handles fulfilling the requests that are phoned or emailed in which consists of non-complex IT tasks and facility requests. Job Description We are seeking a Service Delivery Technicican (Level 1) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing shipping/receiving functions, managing internal material movement, and supporting data center operational tasks. They will work closely with the Operations team to maintain accurate inventory, ensure timely processing of materials, and provide hands-on support for facility and customer needs. What You’ll Do: Assemble, prepare, and process outgoing shipments while recording shipment data such as weight, charges, and space availability Receive, unload, unpack, and inspect incoming materials and supplies; report damages and discrepancies Manage internal transport of materials and complete all related shipping and receiving documentation Monitor email and ticket queues, log all incoming requests, and follow up within designated timeframes Assist with supply management for enclosures, cage materials, shelves, cabling, tools, power strips, and other infrastructure components Escort customer representatives and visitors within the facility and assist with equipment racking/unracking and tape rotation

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills and customer‑focused approach
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active work
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%
  • 0-1 years customer service experience in a technology company and/or 2 years technical experience in a customer-centric company

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with data center environments or critical infrastructure
  • Ability to use test equipment for basic troubleshooting

Responsibilities
