Who You Are Working directly with our team of engineers, you are an experienced help desk technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent rapport with partners and colleagues alike. The more prompt, professional, and accurate you will be, the happier our partners will be.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
  • 4+ years in a help desk, IT engineer or similar role
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft 365
  • Experience with remote monitoring and ticketing software
  • Familiar with troubleshooting common business software, networking, server and hardware issues
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Patience to deal with difficult people and situations (both onsite and via phone)
  • Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle to be used for scheduled and emergency onsite appointments
  • Motivated to learn and adapt to areas you may be unfamiliar with

Nice To Haves

  • COMPTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ Certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic to advanced IT tech support to our partners via onsite and remote means
  • Engineer long-term solutions
  • Provide onsite support when needed
  • Monitor the progress of tickets and key partner support metrics
  • Thoroughly document issues and resolutions and communicate with the team
  • Setup hardware for installation and perform onsite deployments
  • Provide best practices in your areas of expertise, taking on ownership and responsibility of at least one area
  • Work with vendors to resolve partner issues
  • Adapt to changing and varied workflow
  • Use your knowledge and expertise to continually improve processes and partner support
