About The Position

At Luxury Auto Mall of Sioux Falls, we work hard to keep our customers happy by providing exceptional service, and that begins with our new shuttle and pick-up/delivery service. Our courtesy driver/porter will play a crucial role in customer satisfaction by driving our customers from the dealership to their work or home and then picking them back up when their vehicle work is completed. The Courtesy Driver is responsible for providing transportation for customers when they leave their vehicles for service and for making pick-ups and deliveries as required. When not transporting service customers, this position is responsible for moving cars out of the breezeway, pulling them up for delivery if requested and assist in the breezeway and the shop clear of debris. This position is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Vehicle and needs to report any safety or maintenance items to the Service Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
• Able to drive in inclement weather, dusk or dawn.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects up to 30 lbs as needed
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
• Highly professional and dependable
• Safety and customer service oriented

Responsibilities

• Transports customers in assigned vehicles within the local area
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks
• Always obeys posted speed limits and all other rules of the road
• Drive customer vehicles on extended test drives as required
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Pre-clean service customer vehicles by installing sanitary covers and disinfecting steering wheel, gear shift knob and door handles
