About The Position

Churches United for the Homeless (CUFH) provides shelter, support, and case management services for men, women, and families. Embracing “Housing First” principles. CUFH works to address the root cause of homelessness by increasing incomes and connecting guests to community services with a goal of increasing housing stability and preventing a return to shelter.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and team skills; outstanding communications skills, written and oral.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated resourcefulness and good judgement.
Values diversity of thought, background, and perspective
Sensitivity to individual/family struggles with homelessness, poverty, substance abuse, mental illness, and criminal records
Vigilant attention to details with multi-task ability
Integrity and ethics beyond reproach
Connection to Churches United for the Homeless mission and core values
Three to five years of experience in human services working with singles and families.

Nice To Haves

Education and/or experience in a non-profit setting is preferred.
