Summary: Coordinates, plans, organize, and dispatch service technicians in response to customer service requests and in conjunction with hospital and department needs using Facilities Information System Software.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must have proficient computer skills.
  • 1 year Secretarial Support, Inventory Control or Project Management experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct communication to clients, customers, and supervisors regarding status of work orders in progress, work requests, problems, and schedules.
  • Collaborates with supervisors to schedule manpower to meet service request needs in a timely manner.
  • Maintains integrity of system data in order to produce accurate service, compliance and contract documentation and reports.
  • Organize, coordinate, schedule and dispatch technicians with work orders and contract assignments according to urgency, location and Division Manager direction.
  • Responsible for documenting and maintaining all incoming service requests and work orders, obtain pertinent and appropriate information from customers, record type and scope of service to be performed.
  • Assists with administrative duties critical to successful department operations, such as documenting procedures, inventory control, purchasing, accounts payable issue, filing and general trouble shooting activities to resolve issues.
