Our Services for People with Disabilities team is searching for a dedicated, experienced leader to work full-time as a S ervice Coordinator to oversee and supervise Harmony House, a 24-hour site-based services, in Muscatine. Our Services for People with Disabilities wrap care around individuals across the state, from providing occasional respite care or weekly services, to 24/7 support in either a shared apartment environment or one-on-one care through our hourly supported community living (SCL) program. You can make a direct impact on the lives of the Iowans we are privileged to serve. What You'll Do The Service Coordinator will oversee and supervise a 24-Hour Site Based Services at Harmony Houses. Coordinator is responsible for ensuring services delivered provide support, assistance, and instruction in areas that facilitate personal growth and independence. Hires, trains and supervises Program Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals. Will have ownership and oversight of budgeting requirements and operations of Harmony House. Coordinator will have oversight of budget compliance, manage schedules and ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation agencies ensuring the overall viability of Harmony House. Position may require long hours, including some evenings and weekends to ensure the safety and satisfaction of individuals served. This position will be included in an on-call rotation in order to provide appropriate program oversight, which may limit ability to travel outside a geographic area during those times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health or human service-related field or education
  • Three years experience in human services experience (disabilities or mental health preferred)
  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Candidates must obtain CMA certification within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • CMA, CAN, LPN or RN credentials and/or experience preferred, but not required.
