EMCOR Services Combustioneer is seeking a dedicated Service Coordinator to join our team in Lanham, Maryland. This non-exempt position plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of our service division, directly reporting to the Service Manager. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of service operations, including planning, scheduling, and dispatching Service Technicians. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage incoming service requests, prioritize calls, and assist in monitoring technician activities through various means such as phone and GPS tracking. In this position, you will provide essential administrative support to both the Service Managers and Technicians. This includes scheduling service calls using industry-standard dispatching software, monitoring and resolving incomplete service tickets, and issuing purchase orders as needed. You will also be responsible for matching vendor invoices to purchase orders and submitting them for managerial approval. Maintaining accurate records for the division's procurement cardholders and processing weekly payroll are also key responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist in preparing monthly reports, onboarding new technicians, and supporting customer bids, as well as aiding the accounting department with annual reports and compliance projects. The Service Coordinator will also handle various office duties such as mailing, filing, scanning, and data entry, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role is vital to the success of our service division, and we are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
