About The Position
Air Compressor Works, Inc. is a fast-growing, second-generation service company specializing in the sale, installation, and maintenance of industrial air compressors and vacuum filtration systems. We are currently seeking a professional, courteous, customer-oriented Dispatcher/Service Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position is based in our Riviera Beach, FL office and operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The Service Coordinator/Dispatcher plays a crucial role in ensuring that our Field Service Technicians are effectively supported and that our customers receive prompt and reliable service for their material handling equipment. This position requires the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including handling numerous phone calls between technicians and other departments. Attention to detail is paramount, as the individual will be responsible for assigning orders and service calls, ensuring that all necessary information, paperwork, and parts are dispatched with the technicians. Key responsibilities include managing time and workflow for multiple work orders and service calls, reviewing and processing service requests, and geographically dispatching technicians based on their skill sets. The Service Coordinator will also be responsible for scheduling planned maintenance with customers, documenting all pertinent information within service and invoicing software, and maintaining accurate records associated with departmental responsibilities. Additionally, the role involves proactive monitoring of service technicians' work-in-progress to ensure timely job completion and accurate customer invoicing, as well as handling customer complaints and following up to ensure resolution.
