Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4+ years of related experience in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of work experience
  • Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred)
  • Experience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software (preferred)
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Work with Technician Supervisor and/or Operations, Service Center or District Manager in scheduling and dispatching of technicians for jobs (startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance).
  • Answer customer inquiries and route questions of technical nature to the appropriate resource.
  • Track time and attendance for technicians.
  • Coordinate and maintain communication with the customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completed.
  • Invoice and bill customers.
  • Assist in performing local office AP/AR functions and follow up with customer to ensure that payment has been received.
  • Coordinate warranty administration process, parts orders, and track shipments.
  • Answer telephone and greet customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contact.
  • Assist new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork, complete employer required sections of forms (I-9) and ensure that it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee’s first day of employment.
  • Maintain OSHA logs.
  • Enter all information and maintain information into Enterprise Resource System. This includes work orders, new customer information, and technician hours for billing purposes.
  • Ensure timely close-out on all work orders and that all associated paperwork (P.O., etc.) is received and filed with the proper job.
