Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the state of employment.
Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professional appearance and a positive, high-energy attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a process-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience as a service advisor preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
Inspect vehicles and review service history to accurately identify customer service needs.
Promote applicable services, parts, and accessories by understanding product offerings and service requirements.
Provide accurate cost estimates and estimated completion times, and obtain customer authorization for services.
Monitor service progress and communicate any changes in cost or timing to customers for approval.
Manage warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
Confirm service appointments by phone prior to customer arrival and conduct follow-up after service completion.
Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure quality and communicate service results to customers.
Comply with state and federal automobile repair and consumer protection laws.
Exemplify company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
