Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the state of employment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, high-energy attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a process-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of experience as a service advisor preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inspect vehicles and review service history to accurately identify customer service needs.
  • Promote applicable services, parts, and accessories by understanding product offerings and service requirements.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and estimated completion times, and obtain customer authorization for services.
  • Monitor service progress and communicate any changes in cost or timing to customers for approval.
  • Manage warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Confirm service appointments by phone prior to customer arrival and conduct follow-up after service completion.
  • Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure quality and communicate service results to customers.
  • Comply with state and federal automobile repair and consumer protection laws.
  • Exemplify company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
