Join a team that has received numerous awards for being a top place to work: TruStage awards and recognition Job Purpose: This position is responsible for successful account level service support, including proposals, RFP responses, billing issues, contact accuracy, competitor data updates in salesforce and overall service support for sales teams and their assigned credit union partners. This role is assigned accounts in the National segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or related field or an equivalent trade-off of related professional work experience.
  • 3-5 years successful customer care or sales/retention experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CUNA Mutual Group products and services.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan projects and maintain deadlines with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to navigate the organization and respond quickly to account team and credit unions.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, relationship building, problem-solving skills, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated strong skills for collaboration and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate computer technology into customer service activities.
  • Life and Health Insurance and P&C Licenses (must possess or obtain within 90 days).
  • Ability and willingness to travel 5-10% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with account team to address service needs and guidance on what is needed from a deliverable to the credit union
  • Act as a resource to Sales Partner and Account Consultant within territory.
  • Assist the Sales Partner and Account Consultant with preparation of reports and compilation of data to proactively manage account relationship and performance.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with sales account team members and associates at internal business partners.
  • Support the sales team with development of RFP responses, reports, sales aids and tools, escalation calls, and implementation activities.
  • Drive account issue resolution as necessary and monitor satisfaction through proactive follow-up
  • Ensure successful execution against established sales/service standards.
  • Work closely with Sales Partner and Account Consultant to monitor dates of sales agreements.
  • Ensure systems are up-to-date with competitor and key contract data
  • Foster teamwork and culture that accepts and responds rapidly to change.
  • Use knowledge of organization to research credit union and account team needs.
  • Maintain an understanding and relationship with organizations and associations that support the product and service needs of credit union customers.
