About The Position

South Central Bank, Inc., is seeking a qualified candidates for the position of Full-Time Service Certified Banker in their Monroe Market/Scottsville location. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers. Candidate will also perform a variety of functions in a timely manner related to all phases of customer service and teller servicing, routinely handle customer questions, inquiries or problems regarding products, service or an account and be willing and able to travel to all locations within the market. Previous customer service and/or cashing handling experience is preferred. These are functions that the individual filling the Part- or Full-Time Service Certified Banker I position MUST be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodations: • Use of EZTeller efficiently; to include balancing of teller cash drawer • Use of Navigator efficiently and effectively; to include maintenance of accounts • Process holds and stop payments • Process cash advances • Process loan payments • Process night drop and log properly • Issue cashier’s checks and log properly • Process check orders • Knowledge of savings bond redemption • Knowledge of safe deposit box procedures to include access • Ability to process branch capture and balancing • Ability to complete documentation as related to BSA requirements • Assist with processing currency • Adheres to cash limits • Displays proper phone etiquette • Participate in, and log opportunities for, Call Awareness Program; to include cross-selling of bank products and services • Complete annual required trainings and any assigned trainings timely South Central Bank offers an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid holidays and time off, 401K with company match and much more.
