About the position

The Field Services Center Manager is accountable for coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities of our Field Services Center through all phases of client services. This includes coordinating courier services, providing supporting documentation to clients, and communicating any issues to clients or respective Eurofins teams on an ongoing basis. The role also involves maintaining vehicle maintenance, performing duties as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures for Sample Receiving and Courier Services, and ensuring that all samples received are verified and accounted for. The manager will also be responsible for labeling samples, maintaining supplies, and performing on-site sampling events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities of the Field Services Center.
• Coordinate courier services and provide supporting documentation to clients.
• Communicate issues to clients or respective Eurofins teams.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and communicate effectively with couriers/dispatch.
• Perform duties as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures for Sample Receiving and Courier Services.
• Receive and sign the Chain of Custody; verify all samples received.
• Ensure Chain of Custody is prepared in accordance with procedures.
• Label samples as needed and maintain supplies for client requests.
• Pick up and deliver samples, bottle orders, and report to the laboratory.
• Count the number of samples when receiving them from clients.
• Transport samples on ice and unload samples while inspecting for damage.
• Interact with Project Managers and clients professionally.
• Record courier log book entries for pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain records for vehicle maintenance and driving miles.
• Prepare outgoing shipments of bottle kits and coolers for pick-up.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Benefits

• Full-time role with first shift hours (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) Monday - Friday.
• Overtime and weekends as needed.
• Compensation range starting at $18-22 an hour depending on experience.
