About The Position

Cedar Springs Service Center Tech Driver This position does requires you to be 18 years or older and a Michigan Drivers License. Basic computer skills needed for parts lookup. A DOT physical is required The driver is required to pick up and delivery equipment in a timely manner. Some routes can take over 10 hours to complete. A Service Center Driver at Family Farm and Home is responsible for distributing products promptly to our customers. The Service Center Driver would represent Family Farm and Home in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities, Include but are not limited to: A. Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values. B. Promote an aggressive sales culture with an intense focus on superior customer service. C. Responsible for execution and performance of all service center responsibilities through his/her key associates and/or his or her own actions. D. Completes service center operational requirements by working with the manager and technicians. E. Helps provide feedback to the office, i.e., service center director and all other company officials. F. Working with service center service log G. On-boarding and exiting of repairs along with the manager and driver H. Assists with customer billings, warranty claims and monthly expenditures I. Assists with Ordering and inventory control of all parts J. Driving a company service truck and routes for pick up and deliveries K. Interaction with vendors on recalls, product needs and warranty L. Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers. M. Responsible for managing and protecting all inventory and company assets in accordance with company policy against theft and damage. N. Protects employees and customers and maintains the stability and reputation of the service center by complying with legal requirements and providing a safe and clean environment. O. Maintains consistent operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing, operational and personnel policies and procedures. P. All other duties as assigned by supervisor or company official. A Family Farm and Home Service Center Driver must have proven working experience as a delivery driver. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required. They will also need to demonstrate a commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction. A Service Technician must contribute to a positive working environment for all team members. They must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. They must be able to lift 65 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders. A Family Farm and Home Service Center Driver must have a good driving record with no traffic violations and be able to pass the DOT physical.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older

Proven working experience as a delivery driver
