Requirements

  • Friendly and willing to work as part of a customer-focused team.
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Knowledge of cash handling, facility, and safety control policies and practices.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs.
  • Full mobility and able to twist, stoop, and bend.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years managerial/supervisory experience in the quick lube/automotive business.

Responsibilities

  • Overall operation of a service center including hiring, training, and discipline of employees.
  • Customer service management and maintaining store inventories/housekeeping.
  • Achieving profit plan and ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) compliance.
  • Inventory, labor management, and financial performance oversight.
  • Mentoring, leading, and training the team to optimize their development.
  • Performing and training others on automotive preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organized service center and facilitating a safe working environment.
  • Providing superior customer service leadership and building trust with customers.
