About The Position
The position at Altus ACE Hardware involves a variety of customer service and technical tasks within the retail environment. The primary responsibilities include assisting customers in finding products, performing tool and grill assembly, and executing tool repairs. Additional duties involve cutting keys, re-keying locks, measuring and cutting materials such as rope, wire, and chain, as well as cutting glass and plexiglass. The role also includes re-sharpening chainsaw blades, building replacement window screens, and maintaining the Service Center Department by keeping it organized and clean. Secondary responsibilities consist of loading merchandise for customers, ordering merchandise, cleaning and straightening fixtures, stocking shelves, checking in freight, and answering telephone inquiries. Professional communication skills are essential for this role.
