About The Position

Service Center Coordinator serves as the service center main point of contact responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the service center, ensuring that clients receive high quality service and the service center runs efficiently and effectively for the Eurofins Built Environment Testing N.E. Region territory as defined. The Service Center Coordinator (SCC) acts as a liaison between the laboratory and the local client base. The SCC will receive and ship customer samples to the designated laboratory via local Eurofins Environment Testing courier and overnight shipping couriers. In some cases, the SCC employee(s) will log samples into the LIMS prior to shipment or delivery to a local testing facility for testing where the samples holding time is short. Additionally, the SCC employee may need to set up projects in the LIMS and perform some routine Project Manager duties.

Requirements

  • Education: Associates in Business or Life Sciences
  • Experience: minimum 3 - 5 years customer service experience with a service company.

  • Sales experience related to cold calls, quote preparation, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the service center, ensuring that clients receive high quality service and the service center runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Intake of samples. Meet client at drop off lobby. Prepare samples (label and pack) for pick up from lab courier.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of needed supplies to include coolers, sample containers and bubble wrap, document pouches, shipping labels, etc.
  • Maintain a neat and organized workspace.
  • Packing or repacking shipping kits to ship to designated laboratory location(s)
  • Login or receive samples in LIMS system to ensure short hold time methods are able to be processed in a prompt fashion.
  • Knowledge of method requirements such as holding times and bottle requirements-preservatives.
  • Builds and develops localized relationships with customers.
  • Receipt and acknowledgment of client samples when dropped off or delivered.
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
  • Become knowledgeable of Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) services, industry terminology and company operations.
  • Become proficient in use of all aspects of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), especially sales and client related activity.
  • Identify new opportunities and customers and maintain order frequency through phone and email.
  • Follow-up with inbound leads daily and develop a working knowledge of accounts.
  • Utilize CRM software with existing and future customers; maintain pertinent account details - record each customer contact (fax. phone, email or in person date and time of call, nature of inquiry, and time/confirmation of completion.
  • Maintain CRM database of prospective clients and opportunities
  • Call potential clients by introducing lab services and keeping a well-documented pipeline from these calls.
