We boldly go. Where is the work: On-Site (5 days) Trane in Aurora, CO is hiring a Service Center Coordinator to join our Rental Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources. Ultimately, this individual will coordinate the execution of agreement fulfillment in both an office and hands-on shop setting. This includes procuring the appropriate materials for work completion, inventory management, and shipping / receiving activities. Coordinating job priorities with the Area Service Manager will be an everyday occurrence.

Requirements

  • Certificate/degree from college or technical school with one (1) year related experience and/or training; or three (3) years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED
  • Must have excellent Customer Service skills - need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
  • Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.
  • Strong attention to detail and enjoy working in fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates service center resources, including ordering, shipping, and receiving of parts and materials.
  • Interacts and communicates with Project Managers and Account Managers.
  • Coordinates with Procurement Team to fulfill equipment needs.
  • Generates work orders, reviews shipping and receiving paperwork, and inputs information into a warehouse management program to generate various reports.
  • Works in the shop, as needed, to support operations.
  • Operate power equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts to load and unload equipment and/or accessories from 32’ to 53’ trailers.
  • Operate a yard truck to move and/or stage trailers for shipment.
  • Be part of the on-call rotation for loads departing after-hours and on the weekends.
