About The Position

Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Central, LLC. is one of the largest potable water testing laboratory in the US, with over 70,000 square feet of laboratory space and nearly 100 qualified staff at our Indiana facility. We serve more than 500 clients across the United States and in more than 100 foreign countries and are certified to perform Safe Drinking Water Act compliance analysis across the country. Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Central, LLC. a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a dual role candidate for an Environmental Laboratory Project Manager and Service Center Coordinator for our location in Arvada, CO. It is estimated that candidates will spend about 70% of their time performing Service Center Coordinator related duties and about 30% of their time performing Project Manager related duties, though this may vary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience
  • Must have a broad technical knowledge of most aspects of the laboratory, regulatory requirements, and method testing requirements.
  • Must have computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be able to work weekends and additional hours as needed
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of skills and experience, is preferred
  • A solid foundation in the Laboratory business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to details and timelines along with good documentation skills
  • General science and/or chemistry coursework along with past laboratory testing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Packing or re-packing shipping kits to ship to designated laboratory locations.
  • Maintaining inventory of routine supplies and emergency collection kits based on general common needs
  • Login or receive samples in LIMs to ensure short hold time methods are able to be analyzed in a prompt fashion
  • Knowledge of method requirements such as holding times and bottle requirements – size and preservatives
  • Builds and develops localized relationship with customers
  • Receipt and acknowledgement of client samples when dropped off or delivered
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Perform project set up in LIMS, coordinating Orders, Bottle Kits, and login review
  • Reviews and approves Laboratory Report(s) and Invoices prior to delivery to client
  • Prepares client specific deliverables as required
  • Manages subcontracted work to in-network labs and outside 3rd party labs
  • Responsible for managing routine client projects. This includes understanding and documenting project requirements, clearly communicating client expectations to the laboratory, and negotiating an acceptable approach for both the client and laboratory. Must maintain close communication with both the client and laboratory and notify the client if the laboratory encounters delays or quality problems, to properly manage and document client's expectations.
  • Works closely with Sales Representatives, Client Services Manager, and the Laboratory Director to communicate missed expectations, business or laboratory quality concerns.
  • Responsible for setting up or coordinating specific client project specifications in LIMS.
  • May make client visits alone or with other laboratory staff as needed or requested.
  • Provides sales leads to the sales team.
  • Assists sales in contract renewal as needed.
  • Addresses or escalates customer complaints as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned
