About The Position

Toyota of Tacoma is hiring a Cashier / Appointment Coordinator to support our busy service department. This role combines customer checkout and appointment scheduling—ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable handling both phones and in-person customer interactions. You’ll help customers at the beginning and end of their visit—scheduling appointments, checking them out, and keeping things moving. If you’re organized, dependable, and good with people, this is a solid role with a clear routine.

Requirements

  • Friendly and professional with customers
  • Able to stay organized while handling multiple tasks
  • Comfortable answering phones and working on a computer
  • Reliable and shows up ready to work
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic mathematical aptitude
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to independently problem solve
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and handle service checkout
  • Process payments accurately (cash, card, etc.)
  • Schedule service appointments by phone and in person
  • Answer incoming calls and direct customers as needed
  • Help keep the service drive organized and running smoothly
  • Support the team with light administrative tasks
