Job Description: Key Responsibilities: • Day to day coordination of all material ordering, material reception, stock management, warehousing • Pro-active communication with internal MARKEN departments of any material delay, stock distribution, and/or stock deviation to include Project Management, Logistics department, Kit production and Branch level management • Work closely together with the distribution department, kit production coordinator for scheduling the outbound shipments, planning and preparing transport documentation • Support other departments as needed • Provide info on pricing requests; perform sourcing on specific material • Close cooperation/collaboration with clients on warehouse/sourcing management • Perform stock counting and inventory control checks • Receive and control goods • Identify potential process improvements, savings and cost avoidances • Compliance, development, review and revision of SOP’s (if necessary) • Compliance with and work according to MARKEN policies as well as applicable MARKEN quality standards • Compliance with all health policies and safety-conscious work, treatment of all substances with relevant caution for the protection of oneself and others • Compliance with all health policies and safety-conscious work; treatment of all substances with relevant caution for the protection of oneself and others; immediate notification.

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma or relevant experience
  • Good customer orientation
  • Good knowledge of IATA regulations, including Transportation of Dangerous Goods (if applicable)
  • Requires specific skills and knowledge in the use and application of proprietary software, Internet and MS Office applications
  • Good problem-solving skills are required in identifying and alerting others to operational problems
  • Excellent communication skills. Both written and verbal are required to convey and clarify routine information
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • High cooperativeness
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
