About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of sales experience in a retail, financial services or hospitality environment preferred
• Some banking experience preferred
• Basic business acumen and professionalism
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly
• Ability to build relationships and strong alliances
• Ability to quickly learn about the bank's products and services
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Outgoing self-starter and technically literate

Responsibilities

• Opens deposit accounts
• Prepares and processes loan applications for various lending units
• Closes loans for customers for applicable business lines
• Makes referrals to other bank business lines and third-party partners
• Proactively reaches out to high-value customers to retain and grow the portfolio
• Sells annuities and/or insurance products for licensed individuals
• Responsible for operational compliance and adherence to policy
• Handles daily account maintenance and service issues
• Walks the aisles of the supermarket to engage with prospects and existing customers about bank products and services
• Processes deposits to customer accounts
• Cash checks for customers and non-customers
• Processes and records the sale of monetary instruments
• Files government-mandated reports related to large cash transactions
• Processes foreign currency purchases and sales
• Processes various types of loan payments and credit card cash advances
