About The Position

We are seeking a Service Assistant to join our team and support the service department by delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support. This full-time role is based in Soquel, CA, and offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $16 to $17 depending on experience.

Requirements

Previous experience in administrative, clerical, call center, customer service, or a similar role.
Working knowledge of the automotive industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to maintain composure under stress.
Basic computer and internet skills.
Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming sales and service appointment inquiries via phone and internet, including scheduling and follow-up.
Coordinate questions and concerns with appropriate department personnel.
Track sold vehicles and maintain hot sheets.
Confirm availability of special order parts.
Assist in following up on phone and internet sales leads.
Provide administrative support as needed for Sales and Service departments.
Handle paperwork, records, and documentation including forms and reports.
Attend staff meetings, trainings, and educational sessions as required.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and manage the money drawer with accountability.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.
