Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has an immediate opening for a Service Area Supervisor in our Foster Care and Adoption department. This position oversees assigned program operations and ensures program success by aligning staff performance with the program’s philosophy and goals. Responsible for program staffing, training and development and performance management of employees. Competitive pay based on licensure/education Starting salary: $58,000 and up Essential Functions: Overseeing assigned program operations. Monitors and ensures services within the assigned area meet community needs in a cost-effective manner and operate at maximum potential. Assists in the management of the financial performance of the program and ensure all service level requirements are met. Recruits, onboards, trains and develops program employees. Responsible for the performance management of program employees which includes supervision and performance feedback. Responsible for the program culture and addressing employee concerns with the support of HR. Ensures timely completion of all notifications/paperwork which may include billing and attendance reporting. Ensures compliance with licensure, accreditation, and certification requirements, including following CARF and other accreditation standards. Maintain positive relationships with all referring agencies. Monitors and ensures the quality of services through ongoing evaluation, including maintaining high-fidelity in-service delivery and client treatment plans. Engages in committees, presentations, and events that further the program’s mission and promote its services. Assists the Director in creating and monitoring relevant statistical data, deliverables and compliance reports to ensure compliance standards of local, state and federal mandates. Manages incident reports and collaborates with staff on appropriateness of documentation. Develops and maintains relationships with community and advocacy groups affecting program and community services (e.g. county court probation offices, re-entry programs, ODYS legal services, etc.). Participates in community activities that enhance the agency’s public awareness. Develop new services and ensure that existing services meet the expectations outlined in grants and contracts, including required reporting, staffing, and financial management. Ensure employees are trained in appropriate developmental/treatment strategies and ensure that treatment plans are followed. Lead the creation of aftercare plans to address ongoing client needs post-service. Complete ongoing skill and competency-based training, including ICC and MCC delivery, and wraparound training as provided by ODM-recognized entities.
