We are looking for a Propane Service Technician Apprentice with a focus on safety. This hands-on role is designed for someone eager to learn the propane trade from the ground up. You’ll work under the supervision of experienced service technicians to perform system installations, routine maintenance, and equipment repairs across a variety of settings. This position offers clear opportunities for growth, including on-the-job training, industry certifications, and the potential to advance into a service technician role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong interest in trades and technical work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform other physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Eagerness to learn company dispatch systems and mobile tools.
• Availability to work full-time hours and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of propane equipment and systems.
• Maintain clean and organized trucks and equipment to reflect professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Learn and follow company safety guidelines.
• Learn and follow OSHA, DOT, and all state/federal safety transport regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
