About The Position

Service Apprentice – Comfort & Process Solutions (A Modigent Company) Comfort & Process Solutions , a leading provider of commercial and industrial HVAC services since 1999 and now part of the innovative Modigent family, is seeking motivated Service Apprentices to join our team. Requirements

  • No prior HVAC experience required—this is an ideal entry-level role for beginners!
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude, interest in hands-on work, or prior experience in construction, maintenance, automotive, or similar fields is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to take direction.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor to interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to perform physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working in varied environments (heights, confined spaces, extreme temperatures), and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company vehicle use may be involved after training).
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and any required physical exams.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.

  • Mechanical aptitude, interest in hands-on work, or prior experience in construction, maintenance, automotive, or similar fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Service Technicians on commercial and industrial service calls by carrying tools/equipment, preparing job sites, and supporting diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations.
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments at customer locations (including rooftops, mechanical rooms, and industrial facilities).
  • Build positive customer rapport by presenting professionally, communicating clearly, and contributing to high levels of satisfaction—helping generate referrals and repeat business.
  • Participate actively in all required training programs, including on-the-job shadowing, formal classes, safety certifications, and factory-specific education to accelerate personal growth and HVAC knowledge.
  • Perform basic tasks accurately and efficiently under supervision, such as material handling, site preparation, cleanup, and documentation support.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Demonstrate reliability, high energy, and a self-starter attitude by being flexible with schedules, including potential overtime or on-call support as business needs arise.
