POSITION SUMMARY: State Cleaning Solutions, Installation Technician is responsible for coordinating and completing required installs for the assigned district. This position will also support warehouse inventory initiatives and service call support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to operate assigned vehicles according to corporate fleet policy
  • Proven ability to sell value added products
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude (Plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
  • Efficient at problem troubleshooting and resolution
  • Exceptional customer service skills and interface
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred previous warewashing/laundry experience
  • Customer service/sales background

Responsibilities

  • Manage Installs in the assigned region
  • Take installation requests from the manager for the district and record them for follow-up
  • Ensure equipment and product is available prior to install to complete installs in one stop
  • Control the quality of all installations including equipment, product and support material installations, i.e. wall-charts, MSDS, order guides, etc.
  • Manage Install schedule and assigned workflow
  • Assist in inter-district coverage when needed
  • Assist in inventory control and ordering
  • Submit asset movement forms for all inventoried equipment being installed
  • Utilize our handheld device software for all parts, equipment and products delivered
  • Improve technical knowledge of machines and equipment
  • Maintain contact with technical support from vendors
  • Maintain equipment manuals and encourage access by all reps
  • Assist with other service issues as assigned
  • Respond to service requests from reps and supervisor
  • Maintain all company-issued equipment, vehicles, etc
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
