About The Position

The Service and Fleet Advisor supports our operations to service, maintain, and repair our fleet vehicles in the Las Vegas Buggy location. This role coordinates the daily activities of the the team of auto & lube technicians to maintain and service our vehicles and ensures accurate and timely data entry in various operational systems. The Service and Fleet Advisor also works with the Regional Fleet Manager to support service and repair activities more broadly, e.g. collaborating with external vendors on significant body work and complex mechanical repairs to ensure we receive cost-effective and timely services. You will report to the Regional Fleet Manager; you will also work closely with the on-site Branch Manager and Customer Service Rep, as well as the Regional Manager West to ensure we minimize fleet downtime, and maximize both vehicle availability and customer experience for our drivers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly service estimates
  • Experience updating databases or inventory systems; ability to learn and navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability in the face of shifting demands and priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Understanding of relevant safety regulations

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing appropriate repair plans for vehicles; schedule and track vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Schedule telematics installations and coordinate updates.
  • Enter and update information in fleet databases (e.g. mileage, service history, vehicle status) to ensure accurate and timely information on all vehicles; ensure vehicles are moved through the proper stages when voluntarily returned or towed.
  • Work with the Regional Fleet Manager to coordinate sublet services (body, external repair facilities, glass, keys, pdr, paint touch ups, etc.) including negotiating repair prices when needed and preventing upsell of unnecessary services from vendors – sourcing repairs with a sense of urgency and ensuring timely follow-up and completion to minimize fleet downtime.
  • Assist with service operations on the front counter including writing estimates in Service Up for approval by Regional Fleet Manager.
  • Support inventory tracking and management of spare parts and supplies for vehicle maintenance.
  • May assist with general vehicle repairs (i.e. tire change, windshield wiper replacement, oil change, change engine and cabin air filters, replace fluids) depending on team workload.
  • Facilitate with other departments as needed to maximize fleet availability and minimize downtime.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to work onsite, this is not a remote role.
