About The Position

As a Service Advisor at Clear Lake Infiniti, you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests. You will verify warranty and service contract coverage, develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain customer records. Your role will involve serving as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician, ensuring that the customer's needs are understood by the technician and that the needed and recommended service/repairs are clearly communicated to the customer. You will also be responsible for developing estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, calculating the customer's payment including deductibles, and preparing repair orders (RO) by obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into the service database system. Additionally, you will communicate any additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection, administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs, and keep customers informed of service specials, completion times, and service expenses.

Requirements

  • Previous Service Advisor experience, preferred.
  • Prior experience as an automotive technician is a plus.
  • A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
