About The Position

The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in this mission by focusing on delivering an outstanding member experience while facilitating the workflow of technicians. This position requires a keen ability to listen and ask the right questions to ensure that customer needs are addressed effectively, all while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The Service Advisor is responsible for providing courteous service, clearly explaining services and charges, accurately completing timelines, and ensuring quality work is delivered. In this role, the Service Advisor will be tasked with scheduling work, preparing estimates, ordering parts, and coordinating various service activities. They will also manage promised times and ensure that all necessary BAR requirements are met in the preparation and documentation of Repair Orders. The Service Advisor will interact with members to determine their perceived auto repair needs and work to exceed their expectations of great customer service. This includes accurately documenting repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance work into the shop management system, as well as suggesting repairs for safety and improved performance, helping customers prioritize their needs based on safety, economy, and longevity. The Service Advisor will review all repairs made to vehicles at the point of sale, ensuring that customers have a clear understanding of the repairs performed throughout all phases of the transaction, from the original estimate to the final payment. Minimal record-keeping and other administrative functions are also part of the responsibilities. Note that this position may require travel to different locations on an as-needed basis.
