About The Position

As a Service Advisor , you are the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that requires professionalism, empathy, and strong communication skills. You will guide customers through the service process, clearly explain vehicle needs, manage expectations, and ensure a smooth experience from arrival to delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in building long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven customer service experience required (automotive or service-related preferred)
  • Previous Service Advisor or dealership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to manage diverse customer situations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic to strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair
  • Comfortable using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and computer applications
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and create a welcoming, professional first impression
  • Listen actively to customer concerns and document vehicle issues accurately
  • Clearly explain recommended services, diagnostics, timelines, and costs in easy-to-understand terms
  • Write accurate repair orders and communicate effectively with technicians and the parts department
  • Monitor vehicle progress and provide proactive status updates to customers
  • Present service recommendations and options while maintaining transparency and trust
  • Handle questions or concerns with patience, professionalism, and a solution-oriented approach
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain dealership and manufacturer standards, policies, and procedures
