About The Position

The Service Advisor is the liaison between customer and the service department, assisting customers with any inquiries and vehicle repair service. As a key face of the service department, professionalism, integrity and strong interpersonal skills are crucial to uphold our excellent reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers when they arrive in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage when initiating a repair order
  • Perform walk around inspections and advise customer of maintenance needs based on manufacturer requirements.
  • Accurately document customer concerns, assist technicians when needed to verify concerns and ensure vehicle is fixed right the first time.
  • Act as liaison between customer and technician.
  • Consult with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs
  • Follow up with customers and provide repair status updates on a daily basis.
  • Gain knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, keeping up with manufacturer’s publications and completing required training.
  • Inform customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections
  • Assist customer with deciding to fix their car through the dealership’s shop or trading the vehicle in
  • Drive loyalty by providing exceptional customer service
