Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
- Safety-conscious and customer service oriented
- Basic computer and internet skills; willingness to learn new software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as required
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of automotive experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience in service advisor, assistant lane manager, or service consultant roles preferred
- Energetic personality with a desire for a long-term career growth
- Personal and professional integrity
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Collect customer and vehicle information accurately
- Listen carefully to customer-reported vehicle symptoms
- Recommend appropriate maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for labor and parts
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed
- Monitor vehicle repair progress and provide updates to customers
- Verify that final invoices correspond with the completed work
- Clearly explain completed repairs and charges to customers
