About The Position

Service Advisor – Victory Lane Ford V ictory Lane Ford is looking for a customer-focused and motivated Service Advisor to join our service team. As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the link between our customers and our technicians, ensuring every guest receives excellent service and clear communication throughout their repair or maintenance experience. The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, writing repair orders and scheduling appointments as needed. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled. Requirements

  • Previous experience required, at a Ford dealership is a plus
  • Ability to identify the problem quickly
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
  • Very energetic personality
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Minimum of 1 year in service department
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive, friendly attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience required, at a Ford dealership is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
