Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Solid proficiency in standard PC applications and CRM systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree preferred however, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in industrial service or technical sales preferred; a combination of relevant education, training, and experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales results required.
  • Must maintain a positive, disciplined approach in the face of rejection, to continuously improve performance.

Responsibilities

  • Contacting customers within 24 hours of inspections and service visits to review findings/perform service reviews to help meet assigned sales targets.
  • Activities assigned to this role include estimating, completing, and following up on customer offerings.
  • Developing competency and leveraging processes and tools provided for this role to maximize sales growth.
  • Engaging in various sales activities while primarily focusing on opportunities created during inspections/maintenance, site visits, or other sales leads generated by field operatives.
  • Developing relationships with customers, field technicians, branch personnel, and local sales team to foster customer growth.
  • Performing service reviews and providing consultative services within the targeted time frame established. Use of the approved online media is required (Microsoft Teams/Bookings).
  • Assisting with and preparing price estimates for service work using established worksheets, guidelines, and input from the service department.
  • Preparing and maintaining sales case information in the CRM software ensuring they are in the appropriate stage of the sales funnel.
  • Conduct frequent and regular follow-ups for all open sales cases.
  • Maintaining the sales funnel according to the established KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) for funnel quality reporting.
  • Qualifying all new prospects for credit worthiness. Check D&B ratings and obtain credit applications, tax-exempt certificates and W9’s if appropriate.
  • Maintaining customer and contact information in the CRM software, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
