About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a local trucking dealership service team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor (truck or automotive preferred)
• Knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, or fleet maintenance is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-service driven with problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with computer systems and service software
• Valid driver’s license required
• Schedule is Tuesday - Friday 9am-6pm Saturday 7am-3pm

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, or fleet maintenance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately document vehicle service concerns
• Open and close repair orders and clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance
• Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics, repair status, and completion times
• Provide customers with accurate estimates, timelines, and updates
• Upsell preventative maintenance and additional services when appropriate
• Ensure warranty, billing, and documentation are completed accurately
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and follow-up after service completion
