About The Position

Marty's GMC Isuzu is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealership service operations and a proven ability to provide excellent customer service while driving service revenue. Experience in direct repair is a must, as you will be thoroughly explaining recommended services to customers and verifying best procedures with technicians.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum [1] years of experience as a Service Advisor (dealership preferred)
• Ability to read and speak English (required)
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance services
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dealership DMS systems, Reynolds & Reynolds, a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
• Write clear and detailed repair orders
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs
• Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics and repair progress
• Keep customers informed on vehicle status and timelines
• Review completed work with customers and explain charges
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Bring your best positive attitude with you everyday
• Follow dealership policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS system
• Maintain timely paperwork processing
• Great organizational skills
