About The Position

Volvo Cars Danbury is a premier authorized Volvo dealership committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of automotive care. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for scheduling service appointments, preparing repair orders, communicating with technicians, and ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repair terminology
  • Computer proficiency (dealership management systems experience a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally
  • Schedule service appointments and follow up on repairs
  • Accurately document customer concerns and create repair orders
  • Communicate repair recommendations and estimates clearly
  • Coordinate with technicians regarding vehicle status and completion times
  • Ensure timely updates to customers throughout the repair process
  • Process payments and explain completed work upon vehicle delivery
  • Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
