We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor with a proven track record in sales and customer service to join our General Motors/Chevrolet service team. Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Service Advisor/Writer in a GM or Chevrolet dealership (or similar OEM experience).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and dealership service processes.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and accurately document service needs.
  • Advise customers on recommended maintenance and repairs, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Prepare and present detailed service estimates and repair orders.
  • Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain strong follow-up communication with customers regarding status updates and approvals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets for service department.
