About The Position

Service Advisor – Subaru Department Bowser Automotive is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Subaru service department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Service Advisor serves as the primary link between customers and technicians while maintaining the highest level of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in an automotive dealership or independent repair facility preferred
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
• ASE certification preferred
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 10 to 25 pounds
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an automotive dealership or independent repair facility preferred
• ASE certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns
• Perform walk-arounds and test drives to identify additional service needs
• Communicate recommended repairs, estimates, and expected completion times
• Maintain ongoing communication with technicians throughout the workday
• Verify methods of payment and administer applicable warranties
• Keep customers informed on repair status and timelines
• Notify customers when repairs are completed
• Deliver vehicles and review all work performed with customers
• Maintain optimum CSI standards
• Follow all Bowser Automotive safety policies and procedures
