About The Position

Service Advisor is responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle service needs, providing expert advice, and coordinating repairs with technicians. They ensure customer satisfaction by delivering clear explanations of services, costs, and timelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of service truck, and truck systems repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to explain technical details in simple terms.
  • Organizational skills to manage scheduling and workflow.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assess their concerns.
  • Provide detailed explanations of necessary repairs and services.
  • Prepare repair orders, including cost estimates and timelines.
  • Identify sources to procure needed parts, get quotes, and issue purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle repairs.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and work toward resolutions.
  • Stay updated on technologies and industry trends.
  • Process payments and assist with invoice procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
