About The Position

As a Service Advisor at Mossy Volkswagen Escondido, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' experience in the service lane. You will be the first point of contact for vehicle owners, responsible for greeting them as they arrive and guiding them through the service process. Your expertise in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling, and service repairs/maintenance will be essential in ensuring that customers feel valued and informed throughout their visit. This position is ideal for individuals who are new to the automotive industry but possess a background in customer service, retail sales, or hospitality. In this role, you will oversee the flow of the drive lane, ensuring that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. You will take ownership of the customer experience, carrying out additional assignments that contribute to a positive impression of the dealership. Your responsibilities will include providing concierge support for all owner inquiries, advising customers on estimated service and repair costs, and ensuring that all services provided are clearly communicated and understood. You will also be responsible for distributing work efficiently among technicians and conducting comprehensive checks of customer vehicles upon re-delivery to ensure that all services have been completed satisfactorily.
