Requirements

  • High School Education
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify and achieve targeted goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to work well independently or as part of a team
  • Proficiency in responding to inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Attention to detail, professional demeanor, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk, or hear regularly
  • Frequent sitting, using hands to finger, handling or feeling, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, or crouching
  • Regular lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision
  • Exposure to loud noises; ability to locate and discriminate sounds in a loud environment
  • Must pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis and drive a vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, record concerns accurately, and generate precise work orders.
  • Monitor the status of open repair orders, keeping customers and technicians informed of progress.
  • Acquire the necessary training to understand warranty coverage for each franchise.
  • Initiate regular contacts with previous customers, scheduling appointments for maintenance.
  • Notify customers when ordered parts arrive and coordinate appointment schedules.
  • Assist the cashier in closing tickets and notifying customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
  • Explain repair order charges to customers and promptly report service issues to the service manager.
  • Strive to meet management's benchmarks for sales per repair order, total gross profit, repair orders per day, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Enforce safety precautions within the work area.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
