Principal Purpose of Position: Prepares service estimates, sells routine maintenance/repair services and conducts follow-ups regarding unsold services and customer inquiries. Performs opening and closing responsibilities. Schedules appointments, answers phones and collects funds for services performed. Predicts the time needed for completion and stays in constant communication with the customer during the repair process. Assists with the coordination of alternate transportation, rental car reservations, shuttle etc. Sell needed maintenance services and related parts to customers. Identify customer requests. Conduct a complete vehicle walk around. Present multi-point inspection results to customers. Recommend needed maintenance services and related parts. Conduct a detailed active delivery of each vehicle. Make appropriate prospecting and follow-up contacts with owners. Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with dealership policies. Write complete, accurate repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer policies. Provides estimated cost analysis of automotive repairs and routine maintenance. Provide in-depth information on original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part options. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Intermediate skills in CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds software.
• 1 year experience working in a service advisor or express service advisor capacity.
