As a new Service Advisor at Community Automotive Repair in GRAND RAPIDS, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, guiding them through the entire service process. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers warmly, understanding their automotive repair needs, and clearly communicating service options and recommendations. You will handle scheduling appointments, performing follow-ups, and ensuring all customer inquiries receive prompt attention. Accurate documentation of service requests and quote generation will be key to facilitating seamless operations and enhancing customer satisfaction. Engaging with technicians to relay necessary information and updates will also be an important part of your role, ensuring a smooth workflow and fostering teamwork. Must have a valid Driver's License
5+ years experience; capable with advanced diagnostics and complex repairs.

Responsibilities

Customer service
Advise customers on repairs
Build repair orders
Answer incoming calls, emails, and texts
Turn inquires into appointments
Performs all Level II duties.
Mentors and trains other Service Advisors.
Handles 33-50%+ workload while meeting scorecard metrics.
Supports workflow management in absence of the Service Manager.
Handles warranty discrepancies and escalated customer complaints with full resolution.
