About The Position

Sunshine Quality Solutions is seeking a dynamic results-driven Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you'll manage the service operations within our dealership, optimizing processes to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction. You'll oversee the entire work order cycle, drive the sale of service labor and parts, and ensure our technicians maintain high productivity to meet service department goals and budgets.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in service department operations, preferably in Ag/Turf.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Proven ability to lead and hold a team accountable to performance standards.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles related to service department operations.
  • Ability to perform duties with some guidance and assistance.
  • Willingness to learn and grow, with the ability to quote large Ag jobs and explain diagnoses and repairs with support.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products.
  • 4+ years of experience in service department operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire work order cycle, from generation to closing and invoicing.
  • Manage equipment trucking and maintain accurate service records.
  • Sell service labor and parts, ensuring tech productivity to meet department budgets and goals.
  • Collaborate with Service Manager to implement continuous process improvements.
  • Enforce and monitor effective Service Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assign jobs and tasks to employees based on skills and expertise.
  • Review work orders for accuracy before billing.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of Warranty and Product Improvement claims for maximum credit.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
  • Coach and develop team members, supporting their growth and skill development.
  • Participate in employee reviews and performance assessments.
  • Seek out and engage in company-sponsored training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Foster positive working relationships with peers, management, and customers, upholding a commitment to teamwork and excellent service.
  • Ensure company reputation aligns with core values in the community.
