About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival.
• Greets customers in a timely and friendly manner.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Establishes 'promised time' for service completion.
• Checks on the progress of repairs throughout the day.
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explaining costs and time requirements in detail.
• Test-drives vehicles or refers to the test technician as necessary.
• Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone, or branch average.
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles according to manufacturers' specifications.
• Maintains a dealership-prescribed standard for 'hours per customer repair order written.'
• Understands and follows federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and safety policies.
