About The Position

The position involves greeting clients in a timely and friendly manner as they enter the dealership. The role requires conducting a walkaround with the client to compile vehicle data and determine initial repairs needed. A key responsibility is to provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts, establishing a 'promised time' for repairs and following up with clients appropriately. The position also involves checking on the progress of repairs throughout the day, contacting customers regarding any changes in estimates or promised times, and explaining cost and time requirements in detail. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a Customer Satisfaction Index rating in accordance with BMW standards, which reflects elite customer service capabilities. Communication with clients, BMW, and third-party companies is essential to ensure accurate and timely payments for authorized repairs. Advising customers on vehicle care and maintenance according to manufacturers' specifications is also part of the job. The position requires maintaining a dealership-prescribed standard for 'hours per customer repair order written' and understanding and following federal, state, and local regulations related to hazardous waste disposal and OSHA requirements.
